General Information

We accept children 6 weeks of age through 12 years of age.

We are open 7 days a week from 6:30 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.

I have been a licensed childcare provider since July of 2009.

Yes, I have demonstrated competence in working with young children and have been awarded the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. I am an Ohio Child Care & Referral Association (OCCRA) Early Childhood & Afterschool Professional Level IV member. I also have a Baccalaureate of Science Degree from the University of Cincinnati and participate in continuing education programs of 6 or more credit hours each year to advance professionally.

I am licensed to care for 6 children with no more than three under the age of 2 years old at any given time.

Absolutely, a copy of the program policies will be provided in your parent handbook.

Fees vary slightly depending on the age of the child, the number of children you will be enrolling, and the time of day you will need care.

Communication

I provide regular communication via phone, text message, childcare calendar, email, or daily reports sent home with parents.

Yes, I have an open door policy!


Programming

Children will spend their day engaged in a balanced combination of active, quiet, free, structured, indoor and outdoor learning activities.

Yes, activity plans are posted in the classroom and available via email.

Enjoyable learning experiences are created based on the interest of the child or group.

Yes, we read a minimum of three times daily.

We encourage all children to read!

Yes, we go on both routine outings and field trips. Care takers are required to submit forms that give us permission for outings. If driving, children are assigned car seats based on age and weight. I carry commercial business auto coverage insurance.

I effectively practice discipline by using redirection methods.

Safety and First Aid

In case of medical emergency CPR and/or First Aid will be administered first, 911 will be activated if the medical emergency is serious or life threatening, and then the parents or authorized person will be contacted.

First aid is applied where or as needed, parent is contacted, and the child is isolated from the group until parent/guardian is available for pickup within the hour.

Yes, first aid kits are readily available on each floor and inside of the daycare vehicle.

All medicine is clearly labeled and secured in a locked childproofed cabinet.

Transportation if provided by owner on routine outings and field trips. Yes, I carry commercial business auto coverage.

Yes, children are assigned car seats depending on age and weight.
